When to Expect Results

Results from blood tests can generally be ready in as little as a few days. Results for other tests, like PCR and EKG testing—which detect viruses and potential heart problems, respectively—are often available the same day! 

We also offer in-house x-ray services at our walk-in family medicine clinic.

PCR Testing
This test is used to detect genetic material from specific organisms. As such, it’s used in general to detect viruses, such as COVID-19. The test requires the use of a nose swab and results are often ready within a day or two. If you’re experiencing symptoms such as fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, or muscle aches, then we recommend PCR COVID-19 testing.
EKG, which stands for “electrocardiogram,” is a simple, painless test that is used to diagnose heart issues and potential problems. With the use of an EKG test, your physician can detect arrhythmias or blocked arteries. This test is also used to see if heart disease treatments are working as they should be. Results are ready relatively quickly, as well. In fact, you may be able to discuss results with your physician the very same day.
By testing blood samples, we are able to gain vast information about your body and organs.
